Rep. Travis Tranel Issues
- Prioritizing Southwest Wisconsin
- Supporting the Agricultural Industry
- Addressing Rising Costs
Prioritizing Southwest Wisconsin
Born and raised just outside Cuba City, Travis has helped run the family farm since high school. Continuing to live in the area and raising a family, he knows the challenges our communities in Grant and Crawford Counties face. That’s why Travis voted to increase funding for rural roads, and provided historic funding for rural police, fire, and EMS services. He has also fought to cut taxes that were hurting local small businesses. Travis knows making these investments will have a positive impact for the families, businesses, and communities of Southwest Wisconsin.
Supporting the Agricultural Industry
Agriculture is a powerful economic engine for Wisconsin’s economy. As a 6th generation dairy farmer, Travis understands the struggle our farmers face each day and the need for common sense solutions. That’s why he supported policies to help our farmers in both the short and long-term by championing a new program for agricultural roads in need of repair, increasing meat and dairy processor grants, and expanding resources to boost Wisconsin’s agricultural exports.
Addressing Rising Costs
As a husband and father of five, Travis sees how rising costs are squeezing Wisconsin families. Groceries, gas prices, household items, energy costs…inflation hurts us all. That’s why Travis passed tax relief for middle class families and retirees, and helped address childcare costs for families with small children. Travis knows that you need to keep more of your hard-earned money, and he must stop destructive efforts to raise your taxes.
